Lexmark Printer Driver for Windows 10 – Download & Install

How to Download and Install Lexmark Printer Driver for Windows 10
There are three ways by which you can download Lexmark Printer Driver, directly from Lexmark website and built-in Lexmark Printer driver in Windows 10. We are going to show you both methods.
Method 1- Lexmark Printer Software Installation CD/DVD
In this process, you don’t need to download any drivers to install the printer on your computer. All you need to do is to insert the Lexmark Software Installation CD/DVD (Comes with the printer) into your computer’s CD Drive and follow the on-screen instruction offered by the Lexmark Software to install Lexmark Printer to your computer successfully.
Method 2- Windows 10 Built in Drivers for Lexmark Printer
Confirm that your printer is connected to the computer or laptop via a USB cable or Wi-Fi. If your Lexmark printer is not connected to the computer, then try to connect it with a USB cable or follow this article to connect your Lexmark Printer to Wi-Fi. Now, once you are sure that your printer is connected to the computer, then follow the steps below: –
Step 1- Search for Printer on the Windows 10 search box (Windows Key + Q)
Step 2- Click on Printer & scanners option as shown in the picture below
Step 3- Next, you need to click on “Add a printer or option.”
Step 4- Now, Windows 10 will scan for your Lexmark Printer, and once the scan is complete, it will show in the bottom tab. You need to choose the Lexmark Printer model and follow the instructions to download and install Lexmark Printer Drivers and Software on Windows 10 computer. If Windows 10 was not able to find your Lexmark printer, then select the option “The printer that I want isn’t listed”.
Step 5- Once you click on that option, you’ll see a pop screen like the picture below. Choose “Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings” and then click on Next.
Step 6- Select Use an existing port LPT1: (Printer Port)
Step 7- Under the manufacturer option, choose the maker of your printer, i.e. Lexmark, and under the printer option, choose the model number of your Lexmark printer and then click next. (In case Lexmark Printer option is not showing under the manufacturer option then follow Method 3)
Step 8- Now, Select “Use the driver that is currently installed (recommended)”. Click on Next option.
Step 9- Type your Printer name and click next.
Step 10- Share the printer if you want otherwise click on “Do not share this printer” and click on next.
Step 11- Make sure to check the “Set as Default Printer” option. Print a test page in case you wanted to check whether the Lexmark Printer is printing or not.
If the printer is working, then click on ‘Finish’ to complete the Lexmark Printer Driver Download and Install setup process. In the event, your Lexmark Printer is still not working, and you are not sure whether the drivers have been properly downloaded and installed then follow the next method.
Method 3- Download and Install Lexmark Driver from Lexmark Official Website
In this method, we are going to show you how to download Lexmark Printer Driver directly from the official Lexmark Printer Website. Verify that your computer has an internet connection, a web browser, and Lexmark printer connected to the computer via a USB cable.
Step 1- Open the web browser on your computer and go to Lexmark Printer Drivers Download Page.
Step 2- Type in your Lexmark Printer model no. And select the one shown in the suggestions.
Step 3- Select your computer’s operating system (Windows, MAC, and LINUX)
Step 4- Choose the operating system version, for example- Windows 10, Windows 7, etc. For windows users, you can press Windows Key + Pause Break to know your Operating System and Bit info.
Step 5- Select your language and click Submit.
Step 6- Click on “I agree –download” to download the software.
Step 7- Run the setup file which you download on your computer to begin the Lexmark Printer Driver Installation process.
Step 8- Select an installation type, as shown in the picture below and click Start.
Step 9- Click on Install, Agree, and Continue.
Step 10- Select the folder under the install options to choose the folder in your computer where you want the driver to be installed. Don’t change the folder (recommended) and click on Continue.
Step 11- Wait for the installation process to complete, and then select Wireless Connection on Select Connection Type box (in our case its wireless, you can choose USB if your printer is connected to the computer via USB) and Click on Continue.
Step 12- Now click on Yes and Continue inside the Network Connection box.

After all the process, the Lexmark Software will try to scan and find the Lexmark Printer connected to your computer. Once the scan is complete, it will show your printer model no. Select it and click on, continue to install the driver and printer on the system successfully.
